Founded in 1967 by Paul Brown in New York, United States, Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is a Public Fortune 500 company that provides Clinical Laboratory services. Its current headquarters are placed in Madison, New Jersey. When it was initially founded in 1967, it was known as Metropolitan Pathology Laboratory Inc. On December 31, 1996, it became an independent corporation with the name ‘Quest’. It comes under the Health Care Industry and serves United States, Mexico, Brazil, United kingdom and India. Quest also holds collaborative agreements internationally, with various clinics and hospitals. It operates with about 44,000 employees and generates a whopping budget $7 billion every year. Its current CEO is Steve Rusckowski. It is the member of Fortune 500 and the S&P 500. Diagnostic testing services for Cancer, Cardiovascular Diseases, Infectious Diseases and Neurological Disorders are offered by Quest Diagnostics.

Booking an appointment with Quest Diagnostics is very simple, but they do request their patients to make appointments to avoid rush hours and long waits. They allow walk-ins or the patient can also book an appointment online, though their official website.
How to make a Quest Diagnostics Appointment?
It is relatively very simple to do this. The patient must first register and then he or she will have a patient Login access or the Quest Diagnostics Login. This is the procedure.
- The patient first needs to go to their official website and choose the Make an Appointment option.
- The first step is to select the location, by entering the city then choosing the state or the zip. A map is available to see the locations.
- Then the patient needs to select the reason for testing wherein in he or she will be given numerous options to choose from.
- Then the final step is to enter the date and time. The patient can either choose the first available appointment or he or she can also choose a specific date and time. The option will be given under the Date/Time specific.
The patient can then go to the nearest Diagnostic center and get tested.
Quest Diagnostics Drug Prescription and Testing
Quest Diagnostics provide with prescribed pain relief drugs to their patients and they are adamant about the prescription because pain relief drugs can be extremely powerful. Quest Diagnostics is planning to form a partnership with Albertsons Companies Food and Drug retail stores. These Service Centers will be staffed professionally and will be located close to the in-store pharmacies. The stores are Randalls, Safe Way, Tom Thumb and Vons.
These new Service Centers will have their own entrances within the stores, translucent and privacy abiding windows and a neat waiting area. The Service Centers will also provide the patients with private restrooms for use. The Service Center Staff is experienced and committed. Just like in their existing Diagnostic Centers, a patient may come to these new Service Centers for prescribed Lab Tests (By Doctors). They do allow walk-ins but they also urge patients to make appointments to avoid heavy work hours and long time waiting. As of now, there are 8 new service centers in California, 12 new Service Centers in Colorado, 1 new Service Center in Delaware, 1 new Service Center in Montana, 1 new Service Center in Oregon, 8 new Service Centers in Maryland, 14 new Service Centers in Texas, 5 new Service Centers in Washington and 5 new Service Centers in Virginia.
Quest Diagnostics Results
MyQuest App: After the diagnosis, the patient doesn’t have to wait in long lines to get his or her test result. One simplest way is to access the results through the MyQuest by Care360, Mobile Health Application. The patient can download this app and easily find their test results on it. This app can also be used for booking appointments.
The Usual Method: The patient can also get their test results by simply visiting the website and making the Patient Quest Diagnostics Login. They can also download the ‘Patient Request to Access or Disclose Laboratory Test Results form’.
The Traditional Method: The patient can also make a call to the Quest Diagnostics and request the aforementioned form. They can come and physically collect it from the center. After submitting the form the patient will receive the results within 30 days.
Quest Diagnostic Billing
A patient who already has an account for Quest may use the Quest Diagnostics Login and pay the bills. For this, the patient will receive a lab code and an invoice number. This is to keep the patient’s payment information secure. The invoice number is exclusive for just the laboratory testing fee. Any other payments do not come under this.
For a patient who does not have a Quest Diagnostics account can pay the bills by providing insurance information. This can be done without registering.
